February was a whirlwind month, and March is even worst (I am backdating this lol). I took another trip to St. John’s, this time for an event at the Rooms provincial museum. It was here that I got to preview some of the work that I do in my role, which was quite exciting.
If you live in or visit St. John’s, I suggest visiting the Rooms provincial museum – particularly the Cenovus Gallery on level four. There’s a lot of incredible artifacts in there that tell the stories of Indigenous peoples of this province, including from my lineage and hometown of Fox Harbour (St. Lewis).
Of course, no blog post/trip is complete without some fun as well. I’ve travelled so St. John’s so much these past few years that I have favorite spots. It’s all the better when you’re travelling with great friends. Anyway, the photos will tell the story of my trip better than I can at the moment.. my brain is too clouded as I prepare for more travel in the coming week.
